The company is Michael, Tracy & Charlotte Rimmer, and we have been investing in property since 1980.

Here is how it all started. In January 1980 Michael proposed to Tracy, and decided instead of buying a ready built home, he would place a deposit on a plot of land, which already had plans drawn up for a new building development, in a sought after part of the town, in which we already lived, this is now what we call, off plan buying, it was something quite unheard of in the 80`s.

Having placed a deposit of just £250, & given a completion date of early August 1981, this gave us plenty of time to arrange a mortgage & build up quite a good down payment deposit. We both worked full-time, & Michael, who was a fully qualified heating engineer, worked nights & weekends for extra earnings. The house was completed on time, we got married and moved in, in September 1981. Over the years we added value to the house with conservatory, double garage & a full loft conversion. We were also busy becoming parents in 1986 to Charlotte & then Vincent in 1988. We decided to sell our much more valuable home and commence on a major renovation project on a very large run down Victorian mansion. On the side we had purchased a small terrace house in desperate need of repair. The money made from selling on of this property once renovated, would finance the larger property. And this is how it began.

We did just that, renovated old property and eventually moved on to new properties, even gaining the NHBC (National House Building Certificate) in the late 80´s with Michael´s brother on board. Once completed the Mansion was beautiful and sold in no time at all. That is the very last house we sold.
Because from then on we saw a much better and easier way to make money.

We still bought houses in need of renovation, we completed the work , but now instead of selling them to make a quick profit, and get taxed heavily, we now simply rent out the completed house, which has now given us a much better pension, than any pension scheme currently running. Although at first we used a local letting agent, to market & manage our property, we soon decided we could do this ourselves. Now with over 40 properties fully let ourselves, we decided to venture further a field.

Michael´s father, had owned an apartment in Benidorm since 1971. He has sold and upgraded along the way, and now has a frontline beach apartment. We have been coming to Spain since we married, and love the Costa Blanca so much that we decided to take the plunge, and have a Spanish holiday home, that could produce enough revenue to pay for itself. We put our 1st deposit down in 2000, on an off plan development in La Cala de Finestrat near Benidorm. The property completed and we were very happy with our purchase, but for one thing, that being the rental & management companies, could not give the service which we were so used to giving our own clients. So we decided we had better do it ourselves. And because, along the way we have increased our spanish portfolio to over 15 properties, from as far North as Orpresa Del Mar on the Costa Azahar to Albunol on the Costa Tropical.

With our 30 years experience in the property industry, it has been a natural progression to do the same work but in a much healthier climate. Since opening our very busy office in Catral, Vega Baja in 2006 we have further expanded by opening another office in Dolores and plan to open more offices in the future whilst keeping our values as a family run business intact.
